JESUS SPOKE THE FIFTH TIME

I THIRST

John 19:28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

This is a cry from of Jesus and reached from eternity to eternity for any one out of Gods will.

If any man thirst let him come after me.

(1) For the Fathers Reunion

John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

The eternal father and son relationship

The emptying of himself for human role

The exalting of his name above every name

(2) Now fellowship for the redeemed

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Uniting of all saved

Unity of believers in service

Total understanding of the Scriptures

(3) For the family of righteous

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Believers can now be happy

Eternal joy starts with the Lords people

All attitudes are now pleasant

(4) For the forgiveness of the ruined

1st Corinthians 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Now the dark will come to light

Now the dead will have life

The down-cast will have love

(5)A finished redemption

Hebrews 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

(6) Now for his rewards

2nd Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Reaping day for the saved

Rewards for service eternal dividends

Ever thing is settled by the Lord

(7) For the final reunion

John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

When all saints of all ages are gathered before him

All sin has been totally settled forever

When Satan has been dealt with forever
