4. Why must Jesus be the Inheritor of all things? God made the world through Christ Jesus (v. 2, last phrase, cf. John 1:3).

5. What two words in this verse indicates the lonely and exclusive character of Christ’s redemptive work? “By Himself” (v. 3).

6. Because Jesus is the exalted, incarnate Son of God, what has He more than the angels of God? “A more excellent name than they” (v. 4).

7. What else does He have that is “more excellent?” A more excellent ministry (Hebrews 8:6).

8. What does Paul say about His name? “A name above every name” (Philippians 2:9).

9. What did God say to all of the angels when His Son was brought as a man into the world? “Let the angels worship Him” (Hebrews 1:6).

10. How extensive is the creative power of Jesus Christ? “Laid the foundation of the world” (1:10).

11. What did Jesus say as to His eternal existence? “Before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58).

12. How many angelic creatures? Innumerable company (Hebrews 12:22).

If you have never really accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, would you do it right now? Do not delay or put it off. If you would like to receive Christ by faith, pray this simple prayer in your heart:

Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died for my sins on the cross, and rose again the third day. I repent of my sins. By faith I receive the Lord Jesus as my Savior. You promised to save me, and I believe You, because You are God and cannot lie. I believe right now that the Lord Jesus is my personal Savior, and that all my sins are forgiven through His precious blood. I thank You, dear Lord, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you prayed that prayer, God heard you and saved you. I personally want to welcome you to the family of God and rejoice with you.
