God's Sovereignty In Heart Transformation Series

While man may try to persuade or manipulate others, only the divine touch of God can bring about true transformation.

In Proverbs 21:1, we read, "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes."

Psalm 51:10 reminds us, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me."

Ezekiel 36:26-27 declares, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you...I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes."

And in 2 Corinthians 3:18, we are assured, "We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."

We are reminded that true transformation is the work of God alone. While we can pray, counsel, and share the truth with others, it is ultimately God who changes hearts.

In Psalm 51:10-12, David cries out to God, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me...Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and make me willing to obey You."

Proverbs 21:1-3 tells us, "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes...The Lord has made everything for His own purposes."

Isaiah 64:6-8 reminds us of our helplessness without God, "We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment...Yet You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us; You, O Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old."

And in Matthew 18:3-4, Jesus teaches us, "Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven...Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

Let us surrender our efforts to change others and ourselves, and instead, humbly acknowledge God's sovereignty in heart transformation. May we seek Him with open and willing hearts, that He may bring deliverance and change in His perfect time.

May we be vessels of His grace, pointing others to the Heart Changer, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
