All of us are afraid of something…LIST

What keeps us from doing anything new…FEAR---

A single person may have met their soulmate yesterday…Fear

Your dream job…Fear ---- Your better marriage…Fear

Your breakthrough with God…Fear

Taking Chances…Fear ---- Being Honest…Fear

Fear has people paralyzed…

It’s all people know---TV, parents, paper, friends

Seldom will you find someone to encourage you…

Often someone give you fear

1. Fear of Man

2. Fear of Failure

3. Fear of Rejection

4. Fear from Religion

5. Fear of the past

6. Fear of God

Today we’ll discuss...Fear of man

Hebrews 13:6 So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"

Man can do a few things---break the law—you pay--- BE MEAN-

We are so afraid of other people—

They really can’t do anything to you

Prov. 29:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.

A.Pressured by your parents- The fear of living up

There are things parents pressure over, that are good--------Brushing, eating, making right choices, picking friends, respectful

Some parents pressure—To be something were not

And we’re never good enough

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Find out what they love, their heart, their passion….EXPOUND

If your parents didn’t do that…FORGIVE THEM…You’ll goof up too

Honor them…Try not to make the same mistakes

Maybe you we’re never good enough---

It’s great to know GOOD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CHRISTIANITY

While we we’re sinners… Your good isn’t good enough… they were right

GOD’S GOOD…IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS

Lose the fear of man concerning your parents

B.Pressured by peers---The fear of living it up

Starts when we’re in school-----------

Drinking, Drugs, Having Sex,

Ruining kidneys, brain, Body, death, robbing yourself of innocence

But it’s done---Why?

Someone said it was fun--- OF COURSE IT”S FUN

IT LEADS TO DEATH---Satan couldn’t get anyone—is sin wasn’t fun

Satan is opposite of God ----In that---Promises fun, BUT NO REWARD

God promises –It ain’t all fun---BUT HUGE REWARD

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Those decisions don’t end when we get grown----

Easier to be lazy, to not work, Not love your family, Not be a husband, Wife

You might miss something…YOU ARE

C.Pressured by Christians—Fear of Living perfect

My greatest passion is to reveal the death of RELIGION

Man made pressure on God made salvation makes me sick

• That you must dress a certain way

• That works of the flesh will redeem you: Baptism, dress, bible, pray, tongues, End times theories.

GOD CARES---RELIGION DON”T

Jesus Died Because God Cares----Religion will kill you because it doesn’t

Romans 8:15

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

RELIGIOUS PEOPLE SCARE ME---They’ll eat you alive

Fear is Spirit---God hasn’t given U a spirit of fear
