1 Corinthians 10:12

I. 1 Corinthians

c. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!

II. Main points from this verse

a. We can all get to a point in life when we all believe that we are standing firm in our belief. Now there is nothing wrong with thinking this way. We just have to be careful when we think this way.

b. When we believe that we are standing firm that is when the devil strives to make us fall. Why does the devil do this? He (the devil) does this because he does not want us to be firm for God. When we are firm in God the devil knows that he cannot use us, because we are standing firm.

c. That is why it is important that whenever we begin to think that we are standing firm in God, that we pray extra hard. You see when we pray that is our defense against the devil. When we pray we defeat the devil hands down.

III. Praying

a. We should pray to God every single day that we are alive.

1. Morning

2. Afternoon

3. Night

b. Praying three times a day keeps you:

1. Connected to God

2. Shows God that you love him and need him

3. Keeps the devil away from your soul...please notice I said AWAY FROM YOUR SOUL
