Complete Victory Thru Our Lord - Romans 8:37-39

Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!

Romans 8:38 For I am certain that nothing can separate us from his love: neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the future,

Romans 8:39 neither the world above nor the world below---there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.

I. Complete Victory Thru The Lord Because Of His Love - Romans 8:37

II. Nothing Can Separate Us From His Love - Romans 8:38

III. His Love Is Ours Thru The Lord - Rom 8:39

We have complete victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, even the demons of hells don't know this love, if they do, they would not have crucified the Lord Jesus, since the cross will complete His Love for us.

1Corinthians 1:23 As for us, we proclaim the crucified Christ, a message that is offensive to the Jews and nonsense to the Gentiles;

1Corinthians 2:8 None of the rulers of this world knew this wisdom. If they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

I. Complete Victory Thru The Lord Because Of His Love

No one could figure it all out, He defeated all His enemies thru His Perfect Love on the cross for us. Only God can do this for us, He defeated death by undergoing it. He faced the enemy. Don't ever wear the cross with a human on it, the Lord is no longer there, He's with us. The war is over, victory is completed at the Cross of Calvary.

Isaiah 25:8 The Sovereign LORD will destroy death forever! He will wipe away the tears from everyone's eyes and take away the disgrace his people have suffered throughout the world. The LORD himself has spoken.

1 Corinthians 15:54 So when this takes place, and the mortal has been changed into the immortal, then the scripture will come true: "Death is destroyed; victory is complete!"

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God! For in union with Christ we are always led by God as prisoners in Christ's victory procession. God uses us to make the knowledge about Christ spread everywhere like a sweet fragrance.

II. Nothing Can Separate Us From His Love

The enemy cannot do a thing against us, if he kills us, we will be with the Lord, if he let us live, we will win souls for the Lord.

Romans 14:8 If we live, it is for the Lord that we live, and if we die, it is for the Lord that we die. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:4 While we live in this earthly tent, we groan with a feeling of oppression; it is not that we want to get rid of our earthly body, but that we want to have the heavenly one put on over us, so that what is mortal will be transformed by life.

2 Corinthians 5:5 God is the one who has prepared us for this change, and he gave us his Spirit as the guarantee of all that he has in store for us.

2 Corinthians 5:6 So we are always full of courage. We know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord's home.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For our life is a matter of faith, not of sight.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are full of courage and would much prefer to leave our home in the body and be at home with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:54 So when this takes place, and the mortal has been changed into the immortal, then the scripture will come true: "Death is destroyed; victory is complete!"

1 Corinthians 15:55 "Where, Death, is your victory? Where, Death, is your power to hurt?"

1 Corinthians 15:56 Death gets its power to hurt from sin, and sin gets its power from the Law.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

1 Corinthians 15:58 So then, my dear friends, stand firm and steady. Keep busy always in your work for the Lord, since you know that nothing you do in the Lord's service is ever useless.

III. His Love Is Ours Thru The Lord

The key here is never to be separated from the Lord, as long as we "stick" to the Lord, no one can defeat us. It's His Love that perfects us, it's His Grace that strengthens our weaknesses.
