Men do dumb things from time to time. Nabal was drunk and refused to help David out. Thanks to Abigail, Nabal’s life was spared. Abigail acted is a model that we all need to follow.

We all remember people throughout history who have made an impact. But what about the unnamed people who impact us as well. Today we look at one of those unnamed women who had an impact then, but also now.

We all make dumb mistakes. Jephthah certainly did when he made a vow to the Lord that could affect someone else. That someone was his daughter. This sermon looks at the story as it lifts Jephthah’s daughter up as a woman of grace and faith.

It’s odd that Jesus did not reveal who He was to His closest followers, but instead reveals Himself to a Samaritan woman at a well. Was it b/c He needed to share it with someone? Or was it b/c she believed and He knew her heart?

There are many women in the Bible who have integrity and faith, but not all women. Today we are going to look at a woman of trickery and shame.

Where can we see examples of servants of God? Paul tells us that Phoebe is one of those examples. Though we don’t know a lot about Phoebe, we do know that she was a deacon and servant to many.

Mom have to make some difficult decisions. Jochebed was one of those women. In the end, it was her faith that helped her through.

Many people give, but it really doesn’t show their committment to God. Today, we are going to look at a widow who didn’t give much by society’s standards, but she gave it all.
