The first verse clearly declares, this book is “THE REVELATION FROM JESUS CHRIST, which God gave Him,” which doesn’t mean it is a revelation about Jesus Christ but the revelation given by Jesus Christ.

3. The Beast From The Sea

5. Fourth Seal

Following in the wake of the famine comes another horse, still more terrible in its symbolic meaning. It is pale, meaning livid and corpselike. The rider is called Death, the aftermath of war and famine.

The martyrs cried, “Avenge us!” but the unbelievers on earth will cry, “Hide us!” The opening of the “sixth seal” will produce worldwide convulsions and catastrophes, including the first of three “great earthquakes."

8. Sealing Of The 144,000 On Earth

The sixth seal had been opened, and the people of the earth tried to hide from God, asking who would be able to survive God’s judgment. Just when destruction seemed sure, four angels held back the four winds of judgment until God’s people were sealed.

9. The Great Multitude In Heaven

They (the great multitude) were saved by trusting the Lord Jesus. In their psalm (song) they celebrate their salvation and attribute it to their God and to the Lamb, and they thanked God for His gift.

12. Second Trumpet: Third Of Sea Creatures And Ships Destroyed

When the second trumpet sounded, what appeared to be a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea so that a third of it became blood, and a third of the creatures in the sea were killed, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

When our Lord hung upon the cross, His enemies “Gave Him vinegar to drink mingled with gall” (Matthew 27:34). But at the sounding of the third trumpet, many wicked men will die from water made bitter by the Divine Judge.
