Humanity defines identity in what we do and as a result we define ourselves by how others affirm us or reject us.
God defines His identity by who He is. Who He is defines what He does. God is love. Perfect love of equal love. He is good and perfect in every way. He is holy and just, right and true. As we discovered last week God defines His identity in who He is. It is because of who He is that He does what He does.God has made known to us His heart, that no one should perish. His mission is to reconcile and renew all things to Himself.
Yet in perfect love He gives everyone free choice to receive Him ?or reject Him. Last week we looked at our identity in Christ, our present reality and future inheritance. We discovered we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places.
