The presence of the Holy Spirit is evident even before the creation of the world. We see that in Genesis 1:1 where the earth was formless and empty; the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. He was present right from the beginning.

In this series we will learn a more about the works of the Holy Spirit. It is sad that we limit the movement of the Holy Spirit and His works. The Holy Spirit is not meant to be kept in a box. We have to get rid of such mind sets.

The Works of the Holy Spirit is not limited. the topic is very vast. We see Him with a limited access. As we continue with this series my only Prayer is that we shall understand his thoughts and work towards a personal intimacy and relation with the Holy Spirit.
We have been looking at John 15:26. As mentioned before the Holy Spirit has many Names. Let us continue to study about the work of the Holy Spirit. His work is very vast. When we surrender to the Holy Spirit He shall lead us and guide us. Like said before man's direction may fail but we will never regret the leading of the Holy Spirit.
In Matthew 4:1 the Bible says that the Lord Jesus Christ was led by the Spirit of God into the wilderness. People have a misconception that ministry is all about comfort. He is also called as our Advocate. The Lord Jesus said in John 16:7 said that the Holy Spirit is our Advocate. Who is an advocate? What kind of role does an advocate play? We come across advocates in plenty very often in our lives.
As we get into a deeper study about the works of the Holy Spirit we are learning greater works about Him. The Scripture calls Him as an Advocate.
