When Jesus says, “You are the salt of the earth” He is speaking of our conduct and character while yet living in this sin-cursed world. He is saying we are different or we ought to be different and live different than the rest of the world.

The believer is what God and Christ are: light, No greater compliment can be paid, than to be called the Light of the World.
