The world's narrative about God is that God is an "Angry God" seeking to destroy us if we get out of line. But Jesus tells us that God is good and just. When we see the final picture, we will be amazed at how good and just God is.

We can trust God to do what is perfectly right for our lives. Just as God provided the Lamb for our sins, He will take care of us--He is our Heavenly Father!

Although we all must live under the principle that we reap what we sow, God is a God who reaps where He does not sow and gathers where He did not spread seed. He will generously offer us mercy and grace.

God's love cannot be manipulated by our actions. God chooses to love us even though we do nothing to deserve or earn His love.

The image of God is restored in humankind through self-sacrifice--first through the self-sacrifice of God in Christ Jesus, and now as we sacrifice ourselves to our Heavenly Father's will and purpose for our lives.
