In the letter to Romans, Paul is writing about the good news of God. When the problems of this world get you down, meditate on the good news of God. When life’s problems get you down, meditate on the good news of God.

God’s wrath is His reaction to sin and evil. Many today have a misunderstanding of God’s wrath in that they compare God’s wrath to man’s anger. Man’s anger is sin. God’s wrath is the result of His righteousness.

God’s righteous judgment is based on truth. An unrepentant heart stores up God’s wrath against it, but the good news is that God’s kindness leads one to repentance.

There are so many today endeavoring for the praises of man. Many spend their life seeking the praise and approval of others. Would it not be better to receive the praise of God instead of the praise of man? How does one receive the praise of God?

We can not declare ourselves righteous. No one else is able to declare us righteous. Only God can declare us righteous.

The written code could not save us from sinful passions. It aroused sinful passions within us. Through Christ, we have died to sin and have been released from the law to serve God in the new way of the Spirit!
