Jesus said that we are the salt of the earth and the light for the world. He compared our relationship to the world with salt and light. What does this mean? Why does Jesus compare us to salt and light? What is the significance related to this?

Jesus, in Matthew 5-7, was recorded to have given the most famous sermon that has ever been preached. This is commonly referred to as "The Sermon On The Mount". But before we can understand the sermon it is important to know what the theme & content is.

Jesus said that He did not come to abolish The law, but to fulfill it. Does thsi mean that the Mosaic law is still apllicable to us? Do we still have to adhere to it? What did He mean by fulfilling The Law and if He did fulfill it HOW did He do it?

In Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, He says that we need to be more righteous than the Pharisees and the Scribes in order for us to enter the Kingdom. These were the people who were perceived to have been the most righteous. How can we compete with them?

Anger is something that can ruin your life. It is the root of murder and should therefore be treated at the root. You should not act on unrighteous anger, but should live in righteousness. Jesus shows us how He filfills the Law of murder.
