Will we go wherever He calls us, will we follow wherever he leads us, and will we one day take hold of the prize and hear our Lord tell each of us, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’?
In case you haven’t yet heard…the Olympics are coming to Vancouver in less than 100 days. Athletes all over the world are preparing for their various events, from speed skating to downhill skiing, and my favourite…hockey (Canada’s Game!). Jesus is Lord, and I want to know Him, more and more every day. What about you?
We’ve been moving through the book of Philippians and are halfway through the letter now. Paul writes this letter while in prison for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Have you ever wished you were someone else’s place, or a different place altogether? Have you ever thought what it would be like to be in the ‘perfect place’? What is that place to you? For me, and maybe for you too, it’s in heaven, with Jesus.

8. Think About These Things

We can get ourselves pretty depressed and worried and fearful and even sick if we let our minds dwell on so many ‘bad’ things. We ought to spend a lot more time thinking about good things, and not so much time worrying about bad things.

9. Follow The Leader

If we are going to play follow the leader in this life, we had better be sure we are following the RIGHT leader, Jesus. Anyone else could and will lead us away from where God would love to have all of us arrive in the end…in His arms. Will you follow Him?
