1. The Gift We Receive, The Life We Live

The God who saved you is the God who shapes you. The Christ who redeemed you is the Christ who renews you. The Spirit who sealed you is the Spirit who strengthens you. Salvation is received in a moment. Salvation is revealed over a lifetime.

He wore the crown of punishment—to free you from judgment. He wore the crown of pain—to heal your wounds. He wore the crown of persecution—to stand with you in rejection. He wore the crown of suffering and sin—to give you salvation.

In the Passion story, the nails seem like a small detail. Just hardware. Just instruments. Just metal. But the nails of the cross were the HINGE OF HISTORY. They were the point where DIVINE LOVE MET HUMAN REBELLION. They were the moment where ETERNITY TOUCHED TIME.
