A holy burden does not mean you have all the answers. Nehemiah didn’t. It simply means you are willing to say, “Lord, here I am. Break my heart for what breaks Yours—and then show me what obedience looks like.”

May we be open to the Lord placing a burden on our hearts so that when the time comes, we are willing to take the risky costly hard path to serve the Lord.
