Exodus tells the story of God's deliverance of his chosen people from bondage, the journey from Egypt to Sinai, the giving of the law to Moses, and the dwelling of God's presence with his people in the Tabernacle.

The men of Succoth, lived on an excellent army route between Canaan and the East, and having regard only for self and no concern for Israel's deliverance and no compassion for the sufferings of Gideon's gallant little band, would give no bread to their brethren.
