Do you really know God? Many people think they know God, when actually they only know about Him. There is far more to knowing God than merely having an intellectual knowledge of Him. Knowing God is the way to life! What is the first step in knowing God?

We, as humans, think we understand things. The starting point for becoming truly wise is to recognize that there is a power greater than us. That power is God Almighty. No true understanding exists apart from the knowledge of the one who is all knowing.
We only have a limited knowledge, a surface awareness at best. We must know our Creator — the Lord God Almighty — if we are to ever have true understanding and function correctly. 1. What does it mean to know God? It is not intellectual knowledge about Him. Knowing God involves having a vibrant intimate personal relationship with Him. This relationship should be ongoing, ever growing, and maturing.
