This week we are talking about “finding Jesus” which is why thus far we have talked about evangelism and witnessing. The verse we are about to read also directs us to helping people “find Jesus.”

As we dig into this idea of discipleship, I would like to bring up four attitudes about discipleship that are important that we find in the Scriptures. We are going to look at one passage from each of the Gospels.

Our church family is one that will have a firm foundation that lasts. Our firm foundation is based upon the practice of the early church and what they made priorities.

As a church family, we have two competing goals that give us direction, feed our values, and guide our leaders as they make decisions.
