Through covenants, God establishes a relationship with man that cannot be broken even when fellowship is hindered, so that when man falls away, God offers a way back.

Loving God means accepting His love for us however it may be manifest, whether in temporal blessings or pain. Our Lord suffered in His earthly life, but was exalted to the highest place!

When the fellowship between two persons is broken, the love between them impels the Lover to offer repair in order to restore fellowship and reunite Lover and beloved.

God's love for us is eternal, preexisting our own lives. It does not change as we change but is eternal, whatever the consequences and judgment upon us will be.
We’re drawing to a close on this season of Lent, and today we move into Holy Week, when we remember the events leading up to, and through, the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
