Exodus is a continuation of God's story. Genesis has a focus on creation with all of man's failures and faults. Exodus has a focus on redemption with God dealing with man's sin failure to live up to God's good design. God's plan is to make man free.

Exodus is a continuation of the creation story. The emphasis in Genesis is creation while the emphasis in Exodus is redemption. God takes the first steps to set Israel and all people free from sin!

What does God prepare us for? He prepares us to worship, work, witness and walk.
