1. And They Remembered!
Contributed on Apr 14, 2001
How simply remembering all that Christ has done for us can resurrect our lives and strengthen our ministry.
IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT WE SHOULD FORGET OUR MISTAKES, BUT REMEMBER THE LESSONS THEY TAUGHT US. THE WOMEN AT THE TOMB LEARNED THIS SIMPLE TRUTH THAT FIRST EASTER MORNING. THEY MADE THE MISTAKE OF FORGETTING ALL THAT JESUS HAD TAUGHT THEM ABOUT HIS RESURRECTION. THEY CAME TO THE TOMB PREPARED TO ...read more

2. Lessons From Emmaus
Contributed on Apr 14, 2001
Lessons we can incorporate into our lives from what Jesus taught the men on the road to Emmaus when they were confused and dismayed.
THERE ARE TIMES IN OUR SPIRITUAL LIVES WHEN THERE WILL BE CONFUSION, AND THE WAY OUT OF IT IS NOT SIMPLY TO SAY THAT WE SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED. IT IS NOT A MATTER OF RIGHT AND WRONG, BUT A MATTER OF GOD TAKING US THROUGH A WAY THAT WE TEMPORARILY DO NOT UNDERSTAND. JUST BECAUSE WE DON’T ...read more

3. The Results Of The Cross
Contributed on Jun 1, 2007
Finding the message of forgiveness and acceptance from a Holy and Loving God by way of the Cross.
JESUS CHRIST IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD. SIN IS DEFEATED AND DEATH IS CONQUERED. JESUS’ WORK ON EARTH CAN NOW BE SUMMARIZED INTO ONE WORD – VICTORY! WHEN JESUS BREATHED HIS LAST AND GAVE UP HIS SPIRIT, IT WAS NOT THE END, NOR A VICTORY FOR EVIL. WHAT TRANSPIRED WAS A LOVING, COURAGEOUS, ...read more

4. What Will I Do With Jesus?
Contributed on Apr 25, 2019
In Matthew 27:22, Pilate asked, "What then shall I do with Jesus who is called the Christ?" We are asked that same question and must make a decision about what we will do with Jesus Christ.
YOU MAY HAVE HEARD THE SAYING THAT AN OPTIMIST DELIGHTFULLY SEES THE GLASS AS HALF-FULL WHILE THE PESSIMIST CAN ONLY BEAR TO SEE THE GLASS AS HALF-EMPTY. IT IS ALL DETERMINED BY HOW YOU CHOOSE TO LOOK AT THE GLASS. THE SAME IS TRUE IN REGARDS TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST. HOW YOU LOOK AT AND ...read more

5. Instructions For Easter
Contributed on Apr 6, 2023
Both the Angels and Jesus give us instructions on what to do with Easter: accept Jesus for ourselves; go and tell others of our salvation in Christ, and then rejoice!
ALLELUIA! HERE THE GOOD NEWS! JESUS CHRIST HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD JUST AS HE SAID HE WOULD! SIN IS DEFEATED AND DEATH HAS BEEN CONQUERED. THE WORK OF JESUS CHRIST ON EARTH CAN NOW BE SUMMARIZED INTO ONE WORD – VICTORY! THE DEATH OF JESUS ON THE CROSS WAS, IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, A VICTORIOUS ...read more

6. From Fools To Evangelists
Contributed on Apr 21, 2023
In regards to our faith, we must take head knowledge and make it heart knowledge. We must live what we believe. The road to Emmaus helps us to avoid be foolish and slow of heart in order to live and share our faith.
THE JOY OF THE EASTER STORY IS, ABOVE ALL ELSE, WHEN JESUS AROSE FROM THE DEAD. IN ADDITION TO THAT TRIUMPHANT VICTORY, JESUS MADE APPEARANCES NOT ONLY TO THE REMAINING DISCIPLES, BUT, ACCORDING TO 1 CORINTHIANS 15:6, TO 500 OTHER BELIEVERS WHO WITNESSED HIM ALL AT THE SAME TIME. TUCKED IN ...read more

7. Learning From Thomas
Contributed on Apr 4, 2024
We can learn a lot from Thomas that by encountering Jesus and hearing the testimonies of others, we don't have to lose faith, doubt and fail to believe.
I FIND IT INTERESTING THAT IT WAS THOMAS WHO GETS A BUM RAP AS THE “LONE” DISCIPLE OF DOUBT. WHEN WE SPEAK OF THOMAS, HE IS USUALLY REFERRED TO AS “DOUBTING THOMAS.” ALTHOUGH UNDERSTANDABLE, IT REALLY ISN’T FAIR. ALL THE REMAINING DISCIPLES DOUBTED AS WELL. DEPSITE THEIR JOY OF PROCLAIMING “WE ...read more

8. Disbelief And Still Wondering?
Contributed on Apr 12, 2024
It's not too good to be true! It is good, so that is why it is true! Jesus is alive and has risen from the dead. We must never live in doubt or fear, but faith and holiness.
EVANGELIST GEORGE MUELLER WROTE, “FAITH DOES NOT OPERATE IN THE REALM OF THE POSSIBLE. THERE IS NO GLORY FOR GOD IN THAT WHICH IS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. FAITH BEGINS WHERE MAN’S POWER ENDS.” THIS IS A POWERFUL WAY TO REMEMBER THE WORDS OF THE ANGEL TO MARY IN LUKE 1:37, “FOR WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE ...read more

9. The Commandment
Contributed on May 4, 2024
Jesus teaches His Commandment that we must love one another. We cannot do this on our own, but only through abiding in Jesus.
COMMANDMENT! I AM CERTAIN THAT THIS WORD ALONE WILL AUTOMATICALLY MAKE US THINK OF THE BOOK OF EXODUS AND THE TEN COMMANDMENTS WHICH GOD GAVE TO MOSES ON MOUNT SINAI. JUST THAT WORD, ALONE, APPEARS 320 TIMES THROUGHOUT 42 BOOKS OF THE BIBLE. COMMANDMENTS ARE INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE POWERFUL ...read more
