Jude sounds a warning that False teachers, false teaching, heresies, are invading the church. that warning is a relevant now as it has ever been.
And as we start, let me ask a couple of questions…questions about sleeping? Who in here feels like you need more sleep? Who has ever fallen asleep while trying to watch a movie? or watching a football game? Who in here has ever fallen asleep in church?...(no hands, I really don’t want to know!) ...read more

Jude gives us three examples of those who departed from the faith. The consequences is clear: God will judge sin.

How do we recognize the false teachers that have crept into the Church (Jude 4)? by there actions and their ways.

The ungodly have crept into the church (Jude 4). Jesus is coming and they will be judged. All the ungodly will be judged. What side of Judgment are you on?

How are we to overcome the heresies and temptations of the world. Jude just does,t tell us about the problems, he list the solution and tells us to snatch others from the fire.

Jude warns us from false teachings, but in the final two verses of this little letter, Jude gives a doxology that states our security in Jesus.
Something I seldom do and that is switch to another translation of the Bible. This morning I will be using the English Standard Version rather than the New King James Version for our text of Jude 24-25 because of the differences between the different versions based on different Greek manuscripts. ...read more
