The new song which the people of God sing in Heaven looks back to all that Christ accomplished on behalf of His people. All that we now enjoy and all that we shall enjoy are because of His sacrifice.

3. Worshipping The Lamb Who Was Slain

“And the elders fell down and worshipped.” The eternal preoccupation of the saints in heaven will be worship. Angels in Heaven worship the Son of God day and night [REVELATION 4:6-8]; and as they worship, the redeemed of the ages will join them.
