There are seven periods of time in biblical history where God revealed something relating to an understanding of the individual. Each revelation builds upon the previous revelations. The terminology in each revelation remains consistent and precise.

God is intimate with His creation. God is very intimate with the Believer. In the intimacy of the divine and the believer there is fellowship and dialogue. It is this intimacy with the living God that makes the believer unique in the world.

We live in the context of two different realities: the physical and the spiritual. We don't have to much of a problem with the physical realm. However, it is a different story with the spiritual realm. For victory in living we must understand it.

The grace of God is foundational to a biblical psychology. TThe grace of God tells us how God relates to us. God's grace to us is the person of Jesus Christ. God's grace brought about the first and second creation.

The triune God is foundational for developing an understanding of man. On the individual level there is a corresponding image and likeness to the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
