DADS: OUT OF THE FRAME
A little boy whose father was away from home a great deal because he was a high ranking military official with great national security duties, was seen standing staring at his father's picture on a shelf at home. The little boy's mother had placed several pictures of her husband through out the home for not only the little boy's sake in terms of remembrance and presence, but perhaps even herself as a comforting reminder and reassurance. But on this particular day, she noticed her son's attention was almost fixed in a trance just gazing and staring with a sentimental and needing look on his face. Before she could ask was he alright, he looked at her and replied, "Mom, I wish daddy could just come out of that frame and be here with us."
