Two men were standing and looking over the Grand Canyon. Seeing the great depth of that world-famous canyon, one man said, “This is the hand of God. I’m awestruck!” The men next to him looked over the edge and spit. He said, “That’s the first time I ever spit a mile.” I guess it’s all in how you look at things.
But a journalist, lecturer and writer named Hendrick Van Loon, on his first visit to the Grand Canyon exclaimed, “I came an atheist; I leave a believer.”
