RISING HEALTHCARE COSTS
By 2017, Americans will spend more than $4 trillion on healthcare, or $1 in every $5 dollars spent in the U.S. Healthcare spending is increasing at nearly three times the rate of inflation. In 2006, people and the government spent an average of $7,026 a person. This is expected to increase to $13,101 by 2017.
