DIG IN AND HANG ON
When I read Hebrews 6:13-20, I am always reminded of a story I heard years ago, from a young man telling about his trip down a foreign river. A storm came up suddenly and the banks were too high to climb, so he and his friend guided their small craft to the river's edge where, each on one side of the small boat, they shoved their oars down into the mud of the river bed and hung on tight until the storm and wind passed and they could once more row safely downstream. They were desperate, so they dug in and held on for dear life.
