Christian Hedonism
Charles Hodge argued that true knowledge of Christ includes delight in Christ. He said this knowledge "is not the apprehension of what He is, simply by intellect, but also involves, not merely as a consequence but as one of its elements, the corresponding feeling of adoration, delight, desire, and contentment in Christ."
