I never failed a good nap there
I was reading last week how, Hugh Latimer, the famous sixteenth century English Reformer and Preacher [11] was surprised to see a neighbor heading out the door early one Sunday morning. “My Lady, whither goest thou?” The neighbor replied, “I am going to Saint Thomas of Acre Church to hear the morning’s sermon. I could not sleep at all last night. But I have never failed a good nap there” The truth is not everyone is going to listen to our sermon or read the books we give them. Not that there is anything wrong with sharing Sermons and Tracts. But often times it takes something more than that to win people over.
