We also have hope because we know that our fate is not the flame of destruction. We have been born again to ETERNAL LIFE. That means when this life is over, the next one begins – in an instant. All the preachers here have gazed across a casket covered with beautiful flowers and proclaimed an absolute promise from God: 2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” Just imagine, you take your last breath, and as it leaves your body, your eternal spirit is in the presence of the Glory of God. So, why have any fear of death? God will take care of your loved ones, and you will never have to experience any pain or ache again. How does that sound?
We have hope! We have good news! So, we can share these blessings with those who have found themselves in a bad way. God wants them to come to repentance and accept His loving embrace.
