HOW LONG IS ETERNITY?

By Loyd C. Taylor, Sr.

How long is eternity?

No tongue can truly say,

We stand before its vast unknown,

And feel its weight today.

Suppose a bird takes flight

Toward the moon so far away,

It carries grains and leaves them there,

Then brings them back someday.

When all that work is done,

And every grain restored,

Eternity will just begin—

Unmeasured as before.

With Christ in perfect joy,

Or lost in deepest night,

Each soul must face eternity

In darkness or in light.

FOREVER IS FOREVER

Oh, hear the Savior’s call,

“Now is the accepted time,”

His mercy pleads to all.

Oh come, do not delay,

While grace is freely given,

Come trust in Christ, receive His love,

And find your home in heaven.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” —Mark 8:36 (KJV)
