The knowledge of you (Jesus) changes my understanding of who I am. The words I speak, the way I think, the life I live will radically change when I see you and get to know you Jesus. ‘I’ in me will alter (change or destroy) to become more like you (Jesus). Knowing and seeing you Jesus helps me to understand myself better. It reveals how filthy, vile, wicked and rotten I am (self) in comparison to your Glory. Give me knowledge and understanding of you Jesus, and in that light, reveal my true self nature. It's enough of my vain talk, unholy lives, and good ambitions without Jesus in it. Let me understand that anything without Jesus(in it) is filthy or dirty in the eyes of Father God.
I am a man of pride, self-centeredness filled with lot of wicked things that came as part of the fall of mankind . Until I see and know you Jesus, I will not know who I truly am (my true self). Everything I do, it appears to be correct. However, it is not correct (sinful) according to your standards and Glory. Mine is a corrupted lifestyle which does not come close to meeting your standard of Holiness.
Jesus give me the knowledge of you, that helps to build my life.
Jesus, give me an understanding of you, that will expose my wickedness and reveal true self to me. Jesus, give me the knowledge of you; in that light, take me on a journey to know you fully (in your fullness).
