D. James Kennedy wrote a book called "Skeptics Answered" and in this book, he made this observation that has always stuck with me. It reminds me of a quote from D.L. Moody many years before. Kennedy wrote, "There will, in fact, come a time when some of you will probably be standing there looking at my dead body, and you will have concluded that I have died. I will at the same time be more alive than ever. (Skeptic's Answered, Pg. 53. Multnomah Publishers, 1997.)
Kennedy illustrates the reality of the words of Jesus in John 11:25-26 (ESV) when he told Martha, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live. Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die—ever. Do you believe this?”
Praise the Lord for the Resurrection and our Promise of Eternal Life through Christ alone!
