THE TRUTH ABOUT THE LAW

1. The law could not give the Holy Spirit (Gal 3:1-5).

2. The law could not give righteousness (Gal 3:6-9).

3. The law could not justify; it could only condemn (Gal 3:10-12).

4. The law could not change the fact that righteousness always comes by faith in God's promises (Gal 3:15-18).

5. The law is not greater than the promises of God (3:19-20).

6. The law was temporary (3:19).

7. The law was not given to provide life (3:21).

8. The law was given to reveal sin (3:22).

9. The law was given to prepare the way for Christ (3:23-26).
