Presidential election and what one side was accusing the other of doing and vice versa. Through all the jokes and news coverage, something did occur to me as I listened while I looked over my calendar scoping out the events of the upcoming week. Unlike the election, in life, there is no recount. Once a second is gone, you do not get a do over. Once a word has been audibly spoken, you can't take it back. Once you have performed a deed or an action, you can't unperform it. Time doesn’t allow for recounts. We must make the most of our time and use it wisely and watch what we say and what we do. Like the commercial says, “You only have one chance to make a good first impression.” God
