Main Idea: No matter how many good things you have done, one sin is enough to send you to hell.
Verses: “There is none who does good, no, not one” (Romans 3:12 NKJV).
“For the greatness of your iniquity Your skirts have been uncovered, Your heels made bare. Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard its spots? Then may you also do good who are accustomed to do evil” (Jeremiah 13:22-23 NKJV).
“We all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath…” (Ephesians 2:3 NKJV).
Illustration: One day we invited twelve people over to our house for dinner, but we only had ten eggs. So, we decided to blend the eggs and cook them, then cut up the little omelet so there would be something for everyone. I cracked open each of the eggs and dropped them in the blender. Unfortunately, the last egg I cracked open was rotten. Now, can I serve those eggs? No. One rotten egg spoiled the entire meal. Sin is like the rotten egg. One sin can spoil all of your good deeds.
