John Muir was a great naturalist in the early part of this century. He was largely responsible for the creation of Yellowstone National Park and the formation of conservation policy in this country.

Muir lived a very simple life, and yet he once said that he was wealthier than railroad magnate E.H. Harriman, who had acquired millions of dollars. When asked how he could say this, Muir replied, “Because I have all the money I want, and he hasn’t” You see, to whom little is not enough, nothing is enough.
