DO YOU REALIZE THAT THE MORE PROSPEROUS AMERICA BECOMES, THE MORE STINGY SHE BECOMES??
S. IN 1933, AT THE HEIGHT OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION, THE AVERAGE CHURCH MEMBER GAVE AN 3.3% OF THEIR DISPOSABLE INCOME TO THE LORD, THROUGH THEIR CHURCH.
U. IN THE YEAR 2004, CHURCH MEMBERS GAVE 1.94% OF THEIR DISPOSABLE INCOME TO THE LORD, THROUGH THE CHURCH. IN OTHER WORDS, THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE DON’T TITHE.
