Matteo Ricci, the brilliant 16th century Jesuit priest, went to China to share Christ with the Chinese. He took the time to study the language and the culture to more effectively share the Gospel with those that had never heard of Christ. He was so effective, he became the first westerner ever to be invited into the Forbidden City.
