Several Years Ago Driving Through The Ocala ...

Several years ago driving through the Ocala National Forest at night, I spotted a large brown object lying in the middle of the road. I thought it looked like it might be a bear cub that had been struck by a car. I got out and looked at it, and sure enough, that is what it was. About the time I confirmed that was what I was looking at, the thought came to me, “This is not the smartest thing you have ever done.” Can you imagine what the situation would be like if I was standing beside that dead bear cub and it’s mother came upon the scene? We all know Mama would not be happy! Let me tell you, there is something even worse than a mamma bear upset over a lost bear cub, and that is when Jesus gets upset over His church being hurt.
