One day as my two year old daughter and I had finished our shopping at the mall, I was walking ahead of her continually asking her to "hurry up." I wanted to get home, but she was enjoying all the sights and sounds. As she walked right behind me, I looked back to see my daughter had stopped to smell some flowers. It was then that I noticed the flowers were fake! I thought to myself, do we really have time for this? But it was at that moment she taught me a great lesson. I could be so "in a hurry" that I did not take time to smell the flowers placed before me, even if they were fake. She loved them and now I do too. Take time to enjoy the flowers God has placed in your life.
