Blogs are increasingly the way people communicate. There are some 37 million blogs in the world, with a new one created every second, reports blog track site Technorati. Blogs as a social network, doubles in size every 6 months. It is now 60 times bigger than 3 years ago, with 1.2 million new postings each day — about 50,000 per hour. 37% of blogs are written in Japanese, 31% in English, and 15% Chinese. (USA Today 5/16/06)
