Gospel Music Up According to Nielsen SoundScan, gospel music album sales had an 11.6% sales rise the first half of ’06, the genre’s first since ’02. As of 7/2/06, nearly 18 million gospel music albums, including those sold via digital download, have been sold YTD. The overall music industry reports a 4% decline in album sales.
