Gen X In Church: The 48 Million Gen X Group Tends ...
Contributed by Sermon Central on Feb 3, 2006 (message contributor)
Gen X In Church: The 48 million Gen X group tends to go to church with greater frequency than do Boomers (78 million). They are searching for excellence and authenticity and have shown that once they find these qualities in a church, they remain surprisingly loyal. Gen X has shown a tendency to study the Bible more thoroughly than have Boomers, and apply its teachings to everyday life. They also have shown a strong interest in connecting with the history of the Church. They are looking for substance and permanence in a world that seems hyperactive and hypocritical.
