Church Influence On Teens Nominal: New Barna research finds that 56% of teens say they attended church-related activities an average of two or more times per month prior to turning 13. Most likely attendees were those living in the South or Midwest. 26% received general information about God, such as claims regarding His existence, His attributes or teachings about the life of Christ. 17% said their church experience imparted core religious beliefs from the Bible. 15% learned important lifestyle principles, generally in relation to obedience to God’s laws or moral direction for their life. 21% claim they did not learn anything of value during their time attending Christian churches.
