Origins On The Mind: A recent CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll finds 75% of Americans have thought at least a moderate amount about human origins, and 66% say it matters to them which theory is correct. Americans are more likely to endorse a purely creationist view than an evolutionary one. The majority want creationism taught in public schools, while fewer feel so about intelligent design.
