Keep It Short, Pastor!

A pastor was scheduled to address a large Southern Baptist Convention meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. His wife, who often reminded him to preach shorter sermons, said to him, “I am giving you an envelope in which is a message for you. Open the envelope just before you speak and it will really help you!”
Just as the pastor was being introduced as the guest speaker at the huge gathering of Southern Baptists, he pulled that envelope from his pocket, ripped it open and read just one word from his wife in large black letters: KISS.
Well, the preacher on the stage to his left couldn’t help noticing the message and remarked, “What a wonderful wife you must have to send you that sweet love note!”
The speaker laughed and whispered back, “I don’t think you understand what she is saying. The other preacher objected and said, “Well, all I see is a love note that says, KISS! What’s wrong with that???”
The speaker laughed and said, “Don’t you get it. KISS. That stands for, “KEEP IT SHORT, STUPID!”

Who wants God to love them and act towards them halfheartedly, as an after thought. No we want Gods full attention and commitment to our well being. Well God wants doesn't want to be an after thought in our lives either.
